Doctor and allies fight mutated Daleks

Three rifle-grenades, loaded with stabilizing fins and exposed blasting caps, are deployed by Mike and soldiers onto the disabled Daleks. Detonated in rapid succession with countdown precision (Three... two... one... down!), the explosives blast the Daleks’ heads off though their enhanced forms resist total destruction.

Before: Stored in military-grade ordnance, ready for deployment at Gilmore’s command.
After: Detonated, reduced Dalek heads to smoldering wreckage while the creatures’ organic-metal bodies remain partially intact.
