Object
Weng-Chiang's Pulsating Organ
Weng-Chiang presses the fat circular object to his chest beneath the mask. It beats with a slow, unnatural rhythm, its flesh tone contrasting with his gaunt features. The organ has visibly deteriorated, its surface mottled and aged as his Time Lord vitality drains. Sin remains unaware of this concealment, while Chang steers the hansom through London’s night, the enforcer aware of his master’s desperation. Weng’s breath exposes the organ’s wear, its rhythm faltering visibly.
