Romana and Clare repurpose these industrial vats filled with conductive liquid as improvised electrocution chambers. By directing Krargs into the fluid or bridging the liquids to electrical sources, they convert stable material into deadly tactical weapons within seconds.

Doctor turns prisoners against Skagra

The conductive vats line the chamber and are repurposed as improvised weapons. Romana and Clare upend one vat and strip its live wires, then electrify the others by connecting to exposed wiring. They drop the live wires onto the floor, sending surges through the hot Krargs, incapacitating them and creating temporary safe paths for the Doctor’s advance.
