Poisonous Vines of End Zone

Thick, rope-like vines (and their trigger mechanism) that coil across the End Zone’s execution ground, their leaves glistening with a toxic sheen. A length of rough-hewn fiber vine serves as a trigger string to release the vines from hidden crevices. The Doctor seizes both mid-monologue, twisting them into lassoes that coil around Quillam’s and the Chief Officer’s throats. The vines writhe as their dormant toxins react to contact, with the captors gagging as muscles lock and vision blurs. Their potency leaves the guards helpless in seconds, underscoring how the Governor’s domain turns its own brutal ecology against the oppressed. The string’s tension mirrors the balance of power shifting in the encounter.
