V5 Red-Eyed Enforcement Robot

V5 is a humanoid enforcement robot designed for containment and restraint, identifiable by its pair of piercing red optical sensors. Its chassis moves with deliberate efficiency through the dim crew room, blocking Leela’s escape before she shifts to aggression, the machine’s stability overcoming her knife and forcing her to discard the weapon. When cornered, she uses her sleeve to blind its sensors, exploiting its momentary disorientation to break for the corridor, the robot’s original function momentarily disrupted by unscripted human ingenuity.
