Vendors and helpers plant carts and baskets and sweep away tire tracks so pursuers (Belloq and Shliemann) encounter an ordinary market scene while the Monkey Man and others use the bustle for cover.

Monkey Man Reveals Nazi Collusion

A cluster of woven market baskets functions as instant concealment: the Monkey Man ducks behind them after reconvening with his handlers, using the baskets to obscure his presence while shadowing Indy and Marion through crowded stalls.

Before: Stationary as part of bazaar stalls, displayed as everyday market goods and positioned along the street.

After: Remains in the same market position but now actively used as concealment by the Monkey Man; still undisturbed publicly.

Vanished into Omar's Bazaar

Baskets and fruit carts are quickly deployed by Omar's allies to create a believable bazaar façade that visually blocks the garage door and disguises the truck’s presence, converting everyday market objects into tactical camouflage.

Before: Either in stalls or immediately available as market goods; not yet positioned to block the garage.

After: Positioned in front of the garage door and along the square, forming a convincing storefront that conceals the garage entrance.
