Hok's Bullets

Hok fires bullets inside his museum gallery, cutting off Indy's escape. Indy rolls a massive ceremonial gong as a shield. The bullets strike the gong, walls, and surfaces, ricocheting to produce loud ringing echoes that disorient Hok and mask Indy's leap onto a marble bench and dive through the skylight. They maintain lethal hazard amid the chaos.

Bullets are the kinetic mechanism shaping the event: they blast a marble column, strike the gong producing loud ringing ricochets, and thud into walls as Indy times his escape. Their noise both endangers and inadvertently obscures Indy’s movement.

Leap and Takeover: Indy Seizes the Nazi Truck

Bullets (fired by the rear staff car's gunner) are the suppressive weapon used to try to stop Indy during his approach; they kick up sand near the horse, provide auditory chaos, and mark the immediate physical danger around the boarding action.

Before: Cartridges live in the gun; threat latent as an available suppressive tool.

After: Spent rounds in the sand near Indy's horse and along the road; they fail to stop the boarding maneuver.
