A bowl of assorted nibbles occupies the small table between the Doctor and Mel, becoming the subject of an unspoken power struggle. The Doctor attempts to pick it up, only to be sharply corrected by Mel, who redirects him to more serious matters with a pointed objection to snacking during critical plotting.

Before: Bowl of untouched assorted nibbles resting on a polished wooden side table in the Hyperion Lounge.

After: Bowl remains untouched and set aside as incongruous with the gravity of their discussion, left undisturbed on the same small table.
