The battered TARDIS Crew Emergency Radio becomes the focus of their fleeting hope, its worn controls jammed between unstable consoles as Stapley and Bilton physically wrestle for control. Their desperation to transmit overrides safety, rendering the object a fragile lifeline threatening to crush under pressure.

Before: Yielding to the TARDIS’s pitching systems, its surfaces bruised and battery indicator pulsing weakly in failing emergency lighting.

After: Still clutched in tense hands, its components stressed by hasty handling and the ship’s ongoing instability, but no longer their primary focus.
