Ikona's Concealed Energy Weapon (and Tools)

A compact metallic firearm with Lakertyan glyphs, part of a concealed cache of hand tools and weapons wedged near the cliff opening. The cache includes metal implements darkened by oil or rust, arranged beside the weapon wrapped in common cloth. Ikona draws the firearm, firing glittering particulate matter into the Urak's hide to score its scaled skin and create a concussive cloud that obscures the creature's movements, allowing Mel's escape. The residual sparkle marks both the weapon's role as a tool of last resort and catalyst for survival, as well as its functional connection to a survival cache in hostile Lakertyan terrain.
