Doctor and Leela fire the cannon

The Schermuly mortar, hauled up from the service room by Skinsale, is repurposed by the Doctor as a makeshift cannon barrel. The crude device, fed with scavenged debris, is used to fire a lethal volley that engulfs the Rutan in flames during its final climb toward the lamp room.

Before: Stored dismantled or unused in the lighthouse service room

After: Assembly complete with loaded debris, fired once against the Rutan
