The Doctor retrieves the Guards' Cell Keys from the guard room desk drawer moments after crossing the open ground. The keys, labeled in faded paint, are used to unlock Sorin’s cell, enabling his escape.

Before: Hanging on a wall rack or kept in a desk drawer inside the guard room, untouched and unremarked upon by the guards
After: Taken by the Doctor and used to open Sorin’s cell; afterwards the keys disappear from the scene as the Doctor and Sorin leave
