The Shadow's satellite is a high-orbit reconnaissance platform, sleek and angular in design, its metallic hull reflecting faint starlight as it drifts silently above Zeos. Its solar panels stretch like insectile wings, powering the array of sensors that make it the Marshal's target—but missiles slice past the intended military target, this cosmic observer instead. When obliterated in the catastrophic misfire, it snaps apart in a cascade of glittering debris, its destruction exposing the Marshal's hubris and shifting the balance of power in ways only the Shadow perceives.
