The walls absorb sound, muting footsteps into near-silence, while the dim lighting creates a haze of indistinct shadows that confuse direction. Peri stumbles through, unable to distinguish her position from the dozens of similar routes, as the Doctor guides Jondar and Areta in a desperate, soundless evasion.
