Guard's Ornate Keys

Three smooth, oblong pieces of colored plastic—mottled red, gold, and silver—are palmed by the Gallifreyan guard under the pretence of assisting the Doctor. The keys lack visible teeth or slots, their surfaces etched with dim, unrecognizable glyphs that glow faintly when manipulated. K9’s sensors identify their function as security access tools, immediately flagging them as lethal components of a sabotage apparatus. The guard’s casual presentation masks their actual role in unlocking the TARDIS interior for hostile forces.
