The Seer, operating from within the eerie confines of her fortune-telling booth adorned with serpentine imagery, removes Tegan’s anti-dream earpiece. What she does not realize is that the earpiece has been acting as a barrier against the Mara’s insidious influence on Tegan’s mind. Unbeknownst to either of them, this intervention removes Tegan’s last shield, inadvertently unlocking the ancient entity’s hold and setting in motion her rapid descent into full possession.
