An ancient, predatory lifeform native to Chloris, the Marsh Creature occupies the planet's subterranean caverns. Its bioluminescent pseudopod extends to sense prey through air displacement, revealing an extraterrestrial physiology resistant to simple barricades. When threatened, the creature's membrane-like hide repels contact but recoils from concentrated radiant heat—its primary vulnerability. Though Adrasta treats it as an obstacle to be destroyed, the creature operates independently of local authority, answering only to its own survival instincts.
