Johnny Ringo
When the Clantons seek revenge against Wyatt Earp, they hire the notorious Johnny Ringo, who has his own score to settle with Doc Holliday, setting the stage for a deadly showdown in Tombstone.
In Tombstone, tensions rise as the Clantons, led by Pa Clanton, seek retribution against Marshal Wyatt Earp for arresting Phineas and foiling their attempt to hang Steven for a crime Doc Holliday committed. Frustrated by his sons' ineptitude, Pa Clanton hires the infamous gunfighter Johnny Ringo for $500 to eliminate Earp. Meanwhile, Doc Holliday, having killed Seth Harper, flees town with Kate and Dodo Dupont, but is being doggedly pursued by Steven. Charlie, a barman at the Last Chance Saloon, informs Ringo of Holliday's location, but is murdered by Ringo to keep him quiet.
Steven, desperate to find Dodo who left town with Holliday, crosses paths with Ringo, who proposes that they join forces to find Doc, hiding his personal animosity for the ailing dentist. They ride towards Richmond. Wyatt, along with Bat Masterson and his brother Warren, learn of Ringo's presence and the murder of Charlie, setting off to confront the threat. In Richmond, Ringo encounters Kate and learns that Holliday has left her, learning that Holliday and Dodo are headed towards New Mexico. Ringo kidnaps Kate, declaring she’s returning with him to Tombstone. Holliday and Dodo are confronted by Dodo's former associates, who trigger a change of heart in Dodo, setting things right with Holliday, and then escaping. Steven is left as collateral damage when Ringo attacks Holliday. Wyatt's presence in the saloon helps Steven to find a modicum of safety.
The stage is set for a confrontation between Wyatt Earp and the Clantons, with the looming presence of Johnny Ringo promising further bloodshed.
