Logopolis Part 1
The Doctor and Adric materialize the Tardis on Earth to measure a police box, but the chameleon circuit malfunctions, leading them to Logopolis, where they encounter Tegan and become entangled in a dimensional anomaly.
The Doctor and Adric, traveling through time and space in the Tardis, arrive on Earth to measure a police box, which is actually the external manifestation of the Tardis. However, the chameleon circuit, responsible for blending the Tardis into its surroundings, malfunctions, causing a series of events that lead them to Logopolis. There, they meet Tegan Jovanka, an Australian air stewardess, who becomes embroiled in their adventures. As they attempt to fix the Tardis and continue their journey, they encounter a dimensional anomaly that causes the Tardis to materialize multiple times, leading to a confrontation with an evil entity known as the Master. The Doctor and Adric must navigate these challenges while also dealing with the consequences of Romana's actions on Gallifrey, which have led to a significant change in the Time Lords' perception of the Doctor.

The Doctor, troubled by the malfunctioning chameleon circuit and seeking to avoid repercussions for Romana's actions on Gallifrey, decides to travel to Earth. His objective is to measure a genuine police box, intending to use these dimensions for a complex process called Block Transfer Computation on the planet Logopolis, which he believes will finally fix his Tardis. Concurrently, Tegan Jovanka, an Australian air stewardess, experiences car trouble with her Aunt Vanessa, forcing them to pull into the same Barnet lay-by where a real police box stands. As the Doctor meticulously measures the police box, the Cloister Bell tolls, signaling a 'wild catastrophe,' and a 'gravity bubble' prevents the Tardis from dematerializing. Investigating, the Doctor and Adric enter the police box, only to discover it contains a second, identical Tardis console room. This dimensional anomaly deepens when Tegan, seeking help for her flat tire, enters the original police box, which then dematerializes, trapping her inside the Doctor's Tardis. The Doctor and Adric continue through the anomaly, finding a third Tardis, while Aunt Vanessa encounters 'evil laughter' from within the original police box.
